The sculpted receiver is robust and sturdy offering rigid support for the barrel stock and sliding breech block while the Rugers patented Scope Mounting System ensures scope bases never get loose. The sliding tang safety is easily accessible and visible. Available in a number of different calibers and barrel lengths as well as with a black laminate or walnut stock the No. 1 is also made with a sporting-style recoil pad grip cap and sling swivel studs.
