The Ortgies Semi-Automatic Pistol was produced just after the conclusion of WWI. It was originally worked on by Heinrich Ortgies but this model was a later version produced by Deutsche Werke. They were only produced from 1919-1924 but were widely regarded as simple, reliable, inexpensive handguns that were of good quality.
