Taurus Security System (TSS)rsTaurus family of semi-auto pistols all feature the Taurus Security System, which provides instant-ready defense with built-in ability to secure your pistol and make it inoperable at the turn of a key. When the Security System is engaged, the pistol cannot be fired or cocked and the gun’s manual safety cannot be disengaged. As with our revolver Security System, the device is part of the firearm and cannot be lost, and the same special Security Key works for both the revolver and pistol Systems (two keys come with each gun). To engage: simply insert the Key into the button on the rear or side of the pistol and rotate one-quarter turn clockwise. This engages the Security System. The manual safety cannot be moved and the trigger cannot be pulled. To disengage: simply rotate the key one-quarter turn back. This releases the Security System, yet leaves the pistol’s manual safety in the “safe” position until you are ready to release it yourself and fire the gun.

Love my Bull

I’ve had my 454 raging bull since they first came out. About fifteen years, give or take. It is a very good looking gun. It is the most dependable and trouble free revolver I have owned. It has never locked up or misfired. I have the ss 6.5" It is still tight and extremely accurate. Matter of fact, I just purchasedanother one. It has out performed my ruger and smith. Good job.

Taurus 454 rager review

Bought the 6" 454 Raging Bull in black about 3 years ago just because it looked so mean. A side benefit is that it scares the hell outta shooters at the range, especially indoor. I have fired about 500 or so 454 rounds of Buffalo Bore, Hornady and Magtech and never any problems. Same 500 in 45 "long colt" without any problems.

Only complaint is that the black finish, especially at the ports, is kinda crappy. This is easily solved by having it Duracoated in medium gloss black, at it looked even meaner!

Also, ammo is wayyyy expensive, but thats not a fault of the gun.

How do I start the return process?

When will I get my credit or return?

Most returns are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process the return. It may take longer for the credit to appear in your account depending on your bank. What about damaged/incorrect items (not including non-returnable items listed above)?

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Florida Guns will ship you a replacement of the exact item upon receipt of the damaged or defective item. Florida Guns will send you a return shipping label for the return.

What about return shipping costs?

If an Florida Guns error causes the need to return an item or we are replacing a returned defective or incorrect item, then we will pay the associated shipping costs.
Otherwise, the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. When returning an item, please add package tracking and adequate insurance.
