Yeah that’s good stuff. Nice gun bought it new in May-2013 for $500? roughly. Sometimes I carry it but won,t carry it cocked & locked. Yes the safety works,it does (barely). If the safety lever comes down 2-3 m/m for some reason while holstered then the safety is off. That safety is also too long for me .I would like to shorten it in half. Shoots good and accurate enough at the outdoor self police-ing range for my needs. We find ourselves accidently moving the safety lever up & on when drawing, racking or after a couple shots. I settled on the small palmswell-grip. The small one makes the handle of the gun the same size as full size factory Sigmas & SD 9,40,s without the removable palm swell grip option. The gun is a traditional example of a good American product from S&W. A beautiful target, home defense or attitude adjuster. I have no doubt it will fire when needed in an emergency. I,m a stickler on keeping firearms clean and oiled, but that’s just me & I am just another face in the crowd that’s all.

Just bought my M&P 40 today. I have to say, it’s hands down my favorite handgun. I think S&W knocked it out of the park with this one. Fired 75 rnds right off, the gun performed excellent. Trigger pull is as smooth as butter and very light. The feel of the gun was perfect, nice balance, very little recoil. Fired 30 rnds from 25 yrds and had a grouping within 3 in. Very easy to breakdown for cleaning. I would most deffinately recomend this gun to anyone interested in a polymer style handgun. In all I would have to say( watch out Glock, the new M&P is here to stay)

When will I get my credit or return?
