Sig 226, .40 Cal SW

Posted by Wyatt on Apr 16th 2015

I’ve had my Sig .40 SW for over 2 years. I’ve put a few thousand rounds thru it with not not even one hiccup. Beautiful hand gun. Shoots accurately and handles well. The grip is a very good fit in my hand. While I am not a competitive shooter, I am very good with a pistol. I expect accuracy and good performance from any weapon I use. The Sig did not disappoint me. I have owned numerous pistols over my lifetime and this piece sits up on top of the list.

P229 – Quality Firearm

Posted by AgedRocker on Nov 29th 2010

I’ve had my 229 for about a year now. It shoots incredibly accurately and has a great feel to it. I think that is why I got a Sig…something about the grip of it just made sense to my hand.

The trigger has a tad more creep that I would prefer, but I can have that worked on easily. It is probably best to keep as is for carry though.

On the downside, I do worry about the long term durability of the alloy frame’s frame rails, as it does show the wear, but I have been assured by Sig that it is normal.
