Great Gun for the price

MY FAVORITE GUN I OWN

The maverick 88 is a very good gun. I was considering the mossberg 500 instead because i was questionable of the quality of the 88. I decided to go with the 88 and im glad i did. Right off the bat, its better than the 500 in several ways #1 PRICE, youll save about 2 big ones if you buy the 88 over the 500. #2 is the safety, the safety is much easier to access on the 88 because it is on the side of the trigger assembly (general spot where a safety goes) whereas the 500 has a receiver mounted top safety which is not as convenient to access without taking your hand off the trigger. 90% of the parts can be interchanged with the 500, so any aftermarket parts that fit the 500 will generally fit the 88 (except aftermarket forends). I have been shooting this gun weekly for 3 months now and i love it. I have never had one spec of trouble with it since owning it. Cleaning is a breeze, once you do it 2 or 3 times and the gun cycles pefectly all the time. If you are in the market for a pistol grip home defense shotgun i would advise go with the stock instead. The pistol grip is very hard to aim and your always just aiming in a "general" direction. The pistol grip is also very painful to shoot at times, i have to wear combat gloves so i dont have recoil going through the bones of my arms. Although the pistol grip can be fun to put on the gun and have some fun at the range, i would not advise always having it on the gun. Also, the aftermarket accessories for this gun are endless, however, through personal experience with my 88, most of the parts are totally useless and just get in the way. So my advice would to just add a sling and a side saddle to hold some extra rounds and that would be it. Overall its a great gun that i would recommend to anyone and is the funnest gun i’ve ever shot.

How do I start the return process?

When will I get my credit or return?

Most returns are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process the return. It may take longer for the credit to appear in your account depending on your bank. What about damaged/incorrect items (not including non-returnable items listed above)?

What about return shipping costs?

If an Florida Guns error causes the need to return an item or we are replacing a returned defective or incorrect item, then we will pay the associated shipping costs.
