Perfect

Posted by LawDe on Mar 3rd 2016

Into it about 1000 rounds and I don’t think I have had a single FTF or FTE and I shoot whatever bulk ammo is on sale. The ambidextrous charging handle is nice but the accuracy is nicer.

fun and accurate

Posted by JSOG6 on Jan 25th 2016

My MK22 was and early version with FTF and light primer strikes. After a factory tune-up, it is an entirely different shooter. Consistently rips through a full magazine with no problems.

Bench rest shooting at 25 yards: CCI jacketed- wide spread, Winchester Super-X wide spread. Remington Champion all five shots touching. Shot groups were using 1MOA optics.

This was a project gun for me. removing rails, adding camo paint, etc.

a fun shooter and don’t let the previous problems stop you.

shoots as well as my MP15/22

Updated Version Rocks

Posted by Mark on Jun 17th 2015

I bought this on an impulse and then was scared to death when I read the reviews. Mine however is the updated version (those made 2013+ I think) and it rocks. It has been a tack driver. No dependability issues, fun to shoot and damn accurate. I would recommend the updated models to anyone.

A Bad Rap for a Solid Rifle

Posted by AZ Dirty Bird on Oct 26th 2014

The MK22 does everything it should and then some. I took this right out of the box and within 10 minutes I had the sights on an foregrip I bought extra and was ready to drop 100 rounds through it. I have heard of the FTF and FTE issues but I guess I’m magic. I had zero issues. Not only was I happy to not run into any issues I was pleased with the different features and ease of handling the rifle. It was perfect for shooting cheap and having fun. A great little addition to my collection.

My favorite .22 rifle

Posted by Artimax on Aug 10th 2014

I bought mine in April 2014 and it is flawless. I love the 6 position charging handle and it is extremely accurate. As good as my Butler Creek bull barrel 10/22. I only started to have a jam after 400 rounds of not cleaning it. I used Wolf match target and Remington and CCI’s and they all worker great. This gun seems to muffle the noise a bit, specially with my Wolf match ely. I added a $30 reflex site and It is awesome.

Excellent gun… after tweaking with it.

Posted by Nekator GS on Jun 19th 2014

Bought an ISSC MK22…, at first it was finicky, mostly light primer strikes. I never experienced FTE nor FTF, just FTF. I fiddled around with adjusting the rear bolt screw and keeping gun dry versus gun oozing with lube to no effect. However, I then stumbled into this link on Alberta Outsdoormen Forum (http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=186444) and gave it a go at absolutely all he recommended. I am now very, VERY happy with my MK22. I can now gun-n-run without FTF, practice tactical and speed drills with it flawlessly and have a greater time at the range with the kids (used to be so F*ing frustrating before). I absolutely love the machine, love the fact that its ambidextrous as my son is a southpaw. Wouldn’t sell it or exchange it for any other .22 plinker out there… My 2 cents

Manuf 7/2013

Posted by Artimax on Apr 9th 2014

Truly excellent. I bought a cheap reflex sight …Sighted her in in a few minutes. She was dead on at 25 and 50 yards. I shot Wolf target without a hiccup. That target ammo didn’t work well in in Ruger MK III Hunter, but the rifle ate it all up easy. Nice quick shots. I would highly recommend a reflex sight. Lots of gun for the money. Great safety features and ambidextrous. As you know .22 ammo can be finicky but with the right ammo she’s perfect.

Not Bad, But has minor issues

Posted by PeaShooter on Mar 30th 2014

This gun will tear through a full magazine, without jams. Or it will stove pipe once or twice. People get too mad about stove pipes, considering they take about 5 seconds to fix. The gun feels great to hold, well balanced and ambidextrous (Cool Feature!!!) But bore snakes dont like going down the barrel. Ive even seen a video of some guy who drove over this with a 1/2 ton truck, picked it up and shot it!!!!! Overall not bad, but there is better options.

Sweet with some setbacks

Posted by Carey on Aug 10th 2011

Have owned this gun for 6 months. It has excellent accuarcy, well it’s a .22 Magazines are almost impossible to come by as well. The magazine seems to jam at times. Also it does not fire some ammo. I have remington now and not the cheap and sometimes it fires flawless sometimes every other round does not go off. CCI has given me the least trouble. The gun needs to be kept clean at all times.
