Barrel is chrome-lined in both bore and chamber. Features A2 birdcage-type suppressor to control muzzle flash. Six-position telestock for light weight and quick handling. A2 fixed handle features 1 MOA elevation and 1/2 MOA windage adjustments.

The Bushmaster 16in M4 Type Carbine is designed for situations requiring a lightweight, rugged firearm. The 16″ Barrel makes it legal without permanently attaching the flash suppressor or brake.

The 1 in 9″ twist barrel is chrome lined for maximum longevity and accuracy, as well as ease of maintenance. For muzzle flash suppression, a bird cage style suppressor is fitted (others are available). A six-position, telescoping buttstock offers light weight and ease of carrying. The A2 Type Handle has a 1/2 M. o. A., dual aperture, M16A2 rear sight system.

The light weight, forged, 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers are finished in a non-reflective mil. spec. hard anodize for durability, and incorporate all M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open and raised ridges for magazine release button protection. A mil. spec. manganese phosphate outer coating insures complete protection against corrosion or rust on barrel and other exposed steel parts of the weapon.

Returning to the basic’s- Patrolman M4 A2

I can’t wait to get this carbine, ordered it 3 days ago. I’ve been without an AR for about 3 years now and wanted to purchase one similar to my favorite one, Bushmaster Post Ban. I’ve had 4 AR-15’s in a 14 year period in which I’ve sold all of them. My first AR was the Bushmaster Post Ban. However, not knowing things, I found that the factory pinned/ welded muzzle break on that gun was too loud, almost deafening. The Patrolman M4 A2 is almost exactly like the Post Ban with a collapseable stock ( not fixed in the open position) and a bird cage suppressor. Will add a small rail to the lower handguard for a stubby foregrip. Being in the service and annually having to qualify on the rifle range (late 70’s to early 90’s), I’ve grown to love the A2 built in carrying handle upper. This will be the 4th Bushmaster I’ve owned and don’t plan on ever getting rid of this one. The Patrolman M4 A2 is a simple, but reliable, and attractive/ intimidating weapon and is everything that I need it for. The price on Florida Guns was actually $20 cheaper than GunBroker to purchase. Vacation is almost over for the coyotes in the woods behind me up here in the Georgia mountains !

I bought the Bushmaster M4A2 Patrolman’s Carbine in March of ’06. This rifle has been a joy. It is accurate, very rarely has a jam and is a beautiful rifle. It is easy to strip to clean, once you do it a few times. It doesn’t take the average person to figure it out. She is a joy to own & if I was shopping for a rifle, I’d buy another Bushmaster M4. I believe it is the best AR-15 type rifle on the market.

How do I start the return process?

An Florida Guns agent will review your request for a return and respond within two business days.

When will I get my credit or return?

Most returns are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process the return. It may take longer for the credit to appear in your account depending on your bank. What about damaged/incorrect items (not including non-returnable items listed above)?

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Florida Guns will ship you a replacement of the exact item upon receipt of the damaged or defective item. Florida Guns will send you a return shipping label for the return.

What about return shipping costs?

If an Florida Guns error causes the need to return an item or we are replacing a returned defective or incorrect item, then we will pay the associated shipping costs.
